Key learning for practitioners from Learning Review 

Neglect is the most common reason for a child to be subject to a Child Protection Plan
Neglect features in 60% of all Child Safeguarding Practice Reviews (Formally SCR's)
Neglect is the most prevalent form of maltreatment in the UK
Neglect has a negative accumulative impact on the longer term outcomes and future development of children  

Due to this WSCP have introdiced a tool to support practioners across the childrens workforce with understanding and responding to negect.
In partership with the NSPCC we are introducing the Graded Care Profile 2 Neglect tool.  
Learning outcomes

  3. Why do we negelct neglet?

  4. Awareness raising of the Graded Care Profile 2 Multi agency Neglect tool

The event will be focussing on the key learning outcomes and how we can implement them into practice to make a difference to children.

This event will be presented by subject matter experts from across the partership sharing the learning and key messages from this review.
